In most states, children get their hearing and eyes examined in elementary school. When they reach middle school, they may be screened for scoliosis. Now, they are getting concussion tests too. They never get their hearts checked.

Based on data collected from many screening groups, approximately one out of every 300 students who attends a heart screening will discover a heart condition.
In a few countries, all children get their hearts checked. What are we waiting for?
